We envisioned a different reality, a future in which everyone could experience the pleasure of owning a choice of suits without major financial sacrifices. We founded our company to produce affordable, high quality suits, and we grew and prospered by meeting the needs of our customers.
The principles that underpinned our success in those early days continue to guide us now, a half-century later. With business integrity, social responsibility and community service uppermost in our thoughts, we remain dedicated to improving the lives of our broadening clientele.
Our corporate commitment to nurturing executive talent within our ranks has been a key factor in our ability to seize opportunities for growth in a rapidly changing world. Our executives continually pursue new ways to provide services and products that address the continuing diversification of customer values and priorities. This has led to our expansion into new markets, including the bridal and entertainment businesses.
As our corporate group embarks on a new stage of growth, we have made the decision to move to a pure holding company system beginning in April 2008. This change in structure separates management and administrative functions from business operations, and clarifies the different roles and responsibilities of management. We believe this approach will strengthen our ability to respond quickly and efficiently to the increasingly fast pace of change in society.
AOKI has always been a company driven by the spirit of innovation. Each of our 3 different businesses established stable management structure, we increased number of our president and director, also freshed our management team to strengthen and enhanced our group synergy.
